Rafael Gómez-MorianaRafael Gómez-Moriana is Adjunct Associate Professor and Local Manager of the Barcelona Term-Abroad Program at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design. He holds a professional architecture degree from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and a post-professional master from the Berlage Institute (the Netherlands). Gómez-Moriana is a member of CICA (Comité International des Critiques d’Architecture) and contributes regularly to periodicals such as Frame, Mark Magazine, Azure and Baumeister. The recipient of grants from the Graham Foundation as well as the Canada Council for the Arts, his research investigates mass-cultural aspects of architecture such as housing, cities, tourism, and media.
