Rafael Gómez-MorianaRafael Gómez-Moriana is an architect, writer and educator. He is a partner at ArqEstructura and Adjunct Associate Professor directing the Barcelona term-abroad program at the University of Calgary School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. He holds a professional architecture degree from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and a post-professional master from the Berlage Institute (the Netherlands). Gómez-Moriana is a member of CICA (Comité International des Critiques d’Architecture) and contributes regularly to diverse periodicals and books. The recipient of grants from the Graham Foundation as well as the Canada Council for the Arts, his research investigates mass-cultural aspects of architecture such as housing, cities, tourism, and media.
